Conditions

Bureau Connectie Bolivia does not require a lot from the volunteers and interns. The only thing we require is that you are motivated willing to take responsibility and can be independent. We will try to meet everyone’s wishes and needs as much as possible. However we also ask for some flexibility from the volunteers and interns. Concepts, such as agreements, (time) schedules and planning often have a different meaning in Bolivia than in your home country. You need to keep that in mind.

We do not have age requirements, but we do think that it is best for those who are under 18 years to wait until they reach 18.

Even though the average age of the volunteers is around 25 years; we also love to receive people from other age groups who would like to work as a volunteer. We especially like to invite people who have a lot of experience working with seniors or disabled people.

For some work fields a certain education or experience is required. We will keep that in mind during the application process.

You can apply at any time of the year. The language and culture group classes’ will be planned depending of the amount of applications for a certain period of time.

There are no demands attached to the duration of your stay in Bolivia. You can choose for yourself when you will arrive and how long you will stay, but we recommend you to try and stay at least 3 months, so that you also have some time to get settled in.

You can apply with Bureau Connectie Bolivia by no strings attached. Please fill in the application form, which you can find underneath.

If you would like to travel through South-America first and do not know exactly when you will arrive in Bolivia and you may not even be sure if you are going to stay longer somewhere, please contact us anyway. If we receive your application just before you leave or during your stay in Bolivia, our offer is of course much more limited.

Quote

Two weeks after your application we will send you a confirmation of the application as well as a quote. In the quote what we can offer you will be noted, after having looked at your wishes and preferences, which you have indicated on the application form. In the quote the costs and the possibilities for paying will be stated.
